The MLMC Mercy Honour Roll began in 2012 as an initiative of the Old Collegians' Association. The aim of the program is to provide inspiration to our current students and all members of the wider MLMC community. Angela Wood
Angela was nominated for her high level of excellence and integrity in the legal profession, service to her community and the depth of character she showed when diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2013.

Angela was College Captain in 1976. She trained as a teacher at ACU and was a foundation staff member at St Mary’s Mount Evelyn for six years before moving to St Patrick’s in Lilydale.

Jeanette was nominated for establishing Road Trauma Support Services. Jeanette worked for the College for many years. In 1991, her daughter Tanya was tragically killed in a road accident.

Monica was nominated in recognition of her leadership as the inaugural president of the Old Collegians’ Football Club as well as the courage and character she showed when confronting terminal illness.

James is currently the Victorian Deputy Premier, Minister for Education and Emergency Services, James is from the class of 1990 and attended Melbourne University where he studied political science.

Peter was a former teacher who lived with motor neurone disease for more than a decade before losing his battle in 2014. He was an outstanding educator and he inspired all who worked with him.

Sr Carol is a nursing sister with the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart, mostly working in the Philippines. A gentle and humble person, Sr Carol is a strong advocate for human rights.
