Honour Roll Inductees
The MLMC Mercy Honour Roll began in 2012 as an initiative of the Old Collegians' Association. The aim of the program is to provide inspiration to our current students and all members of the wider MLMC community. Monica Lawson (dec.)

Monica was nominated in recognition of her leadership as the inaugural president of the Old Collegians’ Football Club as well as the courage and character she showed when confronting terminal illness.

Hon James Merlino (MLA Monbulk)

James is currently the Victorian Deputy Premier, Minister for Education and Emergency Services, James is from the class of 1990 and attended Melbourne University where he studied political science.

Peter Anderson (dec.)

Peter was a former teacher who lived with motor neurone disease for more than a decade before losing his battle in 2014. He was an outstanding educator and he inspired all who worked with him.

Sr Carol Terpstra MSC

Sr Carol is a nursing sister with the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart, mostly working in the Philippines. A gentle and humble person, Sr Carol is a strong advocate for human rights.

Dr Julia Harrison

Julia has forged an outstanding career in health care and medical education. Her clinical work has been as an Emergency Consult at Dandenong Hospital and emergency physician at Monash Health.

Sr Beth Calthorpe RSM

Beth was principal of Mount Lilydale Mercy College for 14 years (1976-1989) during a period of enormous growth in enrolments and facilities.
