Mercy Honour Role Inductee

Kelly Bourke-Finn

Year of Induction 2021

Although Kelly is outstanding in her profession as a Critical Care Nurse, it is her volunteer efforts and community involvement that we would like to acknowledge. Kelly leads a team of volunteers who staff a St Vincent De Paul soup van in the streets of Melbourne. When first volunteering Kelly saw the need for toiletries to be supplied to the homeless and now has a team of over 100 volunteers who collect, sort and distribute toiletries to homeless men and women in Melbourne.

Kelly spreads further awareness and information on the issue of homelessness by speaking at schools, sporting clubs and community fundraising nights. This has resulted in fundraising and donation efforts from local primary schools, footy clubs and their sponsors.

Kelly is known by those in the community as a leader with a great sense of social justice always going above and beyond for those in need.
