Maria’s extensive involvement in a wide variety of organisations demonstrates the value she places on hard work and her commitment to the local community. She ran her own business in Lilydale for 20 years, was a councillor for representing the Billanook Ward and also served as the Mayor of Yarra Ranges Shire. Maria’s strength of character and her integrity are evident in her commitment to her family, her gracious hospitable spirit and her battle with personal illness. She has also been a strong supporter of the MLMC Old Collegians’ Association over many years.
