CLASS OF 1989

Cameron Heath from the class of 1989, Cameron has had to overcome many obstacles in his life due to being born with Poland Syndrome. This has never stopped him from achieving his goals at a very high level. He excelled in soccer and has coached younger generations to achieve at their highest level. During his mother’s battle with cancer, Cameron was most supportive and resilient. Cameron has been and continues to be an inspiration to many and his life displays commitment to the Mercy Ethos. His approach to the education of young people is exemplified in the Theory of Action for Healesville Primary, at which he is Principal: “When the school vision and values are clear and aligned, when learning tasks are purposeful, well defined and tailored to each student’s needs, all students will experience powerful, progressive and precise learning.”
