Leah Hill shaped the lives of many hundreds of students who were fortunate to be placed in her care during both primary and secondary phases of her teaching career. She witnessed and was involved in the transition of the College from a small girls’ school with boarders to a thriving co-educational facility. Throughout her 24 years at the College, Leah was a role model for staff and students. She committed her love, care, humour and compassion to the lives of all members of the College community. Since leaving MLMC, Leah maintained her enthusiasm and diligence in tutoring students who have learning difficulties, exploring innovative ways to assist their learning.
