As a massive clean-up operation begins in our local communities after the storm on Wednesday 9 June, let us pray for all who are affected. May we reach out in whatever ways we can to those who need help at this time. Let us also pray in thanksgiving for all emergency workers who do such an incredible job at times like these.
Prayer
Go forth into the world in peace;
be of good courage;
hold fast that which is good;
render to no one evil for evil;
strengthen the fainthearted;
support the weak;
help the afflicted;
honour everyone;
love and serve the Lord,
rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit;
and the blessing of God almighty,
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
Amen.
