Happy New Year from the volunteer community at MLMC. We hope you all had a restful break and an enjoyable festive season. We have hit the ground running this year with volunteer events and are looking forward to another busy year.
As always, we welcome volunteers in most areas of the College, and we are always looking for fresh faces to join our volunteer community. This year, there are a number of events which require volunteer assistance.
The dates for these events are as follows:
- Friday 22 February — Swimming Carnival BBQ
- Tuesday 5 March — Special Person’s Day morning tea
- Friday 26 March and Saturday 27 March — Debutante Balls
- Friday 29 March — Athletics Carnival BBQ
- Thursday 9 May — Taste of MLMC supper
- Friday 13 September — Mercy Day
- Tuesday 3 December — Family Carols BBQ
We also have one Parents and Friends’ Association (P&F) meeting per month to discuss upcoming events and how the P&F can enrich the lives of students here at the College. The P&F meeting dates are as follows:
- Tuesday 26 February
- Tuesday 4 June
- Tuesday 13 August
- Tuesday 22 October
Everyone is welcome at the meetings.
